1st Annual Family Fun Fete, March 2014
Held in the afternoon and evening at Tivoli Drive-in, families attended a mini-market, with stalls, information on the area and affiliations and demos from local organisations and businesses such as the SES, Bush Kidz and GKR Karate, and were entertained by buskers, magicians, balloon twirlers, and Ditto from Bravehearts, Fire twirling, Face painting, snakes and a jumping castle.
As evening approached, Military Kids recognition held a medal ceremony, where children were presented with medals, for their courage and perseverance whilst their parent(s) were away on deployment.
A food court, with pizza, ice cream, bbq, drinks, fairy floss, popcorn, and more was opened up to grab dinner after the afternoons events, before everyone ventured back to their cars to watch Disneys FROZEN on the big screen.
Feedback from the night was that it was a huge success.
